Once we got to the “what is your address” phase the seller dropped off the face of the planet. This is not how you sell a bike.

Wasn’t even actively in the market for a bike, but this one was cheap due to him needing the money to move from CT to FL.

Weird. I will withhold my address until I’m ready to actually meet as I’ve had too many flaky Craigslisters not show and don’t like the idea of them knowing where all my cars and parts are stored. However, I’ll never leave them hanging. Maybe it already sold?

Yeah, I’m baffled. Last message from him was a “when are you thinking of coming to look at it” yesterday. I replied saying tonight, asked for his address and told him I’d text him when I was on my way and had an exact ETA. Didn’t hear back, and hasn’t replied to a followup today asking if we were still on for tonight.

Is that the bike? What the hell is it?

I see elements of at least four different bikes in it.

Hyosung GV650. It is a South Korean company that started out making bikes with Suzuki and struck out on their own about 10 years ago. The GV650 has a detuned sportbike engine making around 73hp in a weird mutant cruiser frame.

The windshield & fairing isn’t doing it any favors, but it is a weird looking bike regardless. They’re pretty reliable though and a dirt-cheap way to get a good cruising bike.

THANK YOU!

I was wondering what the hell it was.

I saw a V Rod type frame, forward controls,a 90 degree V twin, a standard rear fender/seat, and a SV/Honda Hawk type tank.

Today, I learned this thing existed.
